By On 29th September 2018, more than 350 people joined together for Stoicon in London. In our presentation, Leonidas Konstantakos and I wanted to explore the possibility of applying Stoicism beyond the self and onto the challenges of the 21st century. We looked at how the Stoic virtues perfectly align with the concept of sustainable development and demonstrated the philosophy’s relevance when it comes to combating extreme nationalism, fake news, climate change and political apathy. The positive response to our call to action was highly encouraging. For all those who asked, here are the pdf slides.
